Project Controller, Junior

Key Role:

Serve as a junior business operations professional providing contract financial management services for multiple contracts and orders delivery. Work as part of a program management office with internal clients and business partner colleagues to resolve financial, contractual, and administrative-related issues. Maintain responsibility for financial management, including analyzing monthly and bi-monthly financial reports and cost-to-completes. Review, reconcile, and audit financial data, including labor, travel, and other direct costs (ODCs) for accuracy of cost and expenditures, perform analytical financial analyses per contract and program manager requirements, analyze trend financial data to manage and mitigate contractual risk by ensuring relevant contract terms and conditions, provide analysis on level of effort (LOE), funding, and ceiling versus expenditures and job profit, identify financial and contractual risks, and provide recommendations, as appropriate. Multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced, changing environment and work collaboratively across internal and external teams.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with Microsoft Office programs, including PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook

-Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, and its effective use in a financial tracking, analysis, and reporting environment

-Ability to discuss and resolve administrative and financial issues effectively within a team environment

-Ability to multi-task and problem-solve in a fast-paced, changing environment

-Active Secret clearance

Additional Qualifications:

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent organizational skills

-BA or BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics and 1+ years of experience with program, project, or contract financial management, including government contracting or 3+ years of experience with contract or financial management in lieu of a degree
