Project Management Office Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Assist federal government projects and programs with delivering advancements faster, cheaper, and more successfully. Interface with technical staff, teammates, management, government clients, other contractors, and executives. Provide oversight, guidance, and execution of Project Management Office (PMO) and project controls functions, including risk, scheduling, cost, earned value, deliverable coordination, staff tracking, performance metrics, portfolio or fund management, budget, contracting or acquisition, root cause analysis, and lessons learned. Establish and mature the PMO, including tailoring the Project Management Body of Knowledge and other best practices. Develop recommendations, gather buy-in, and implement the approach across a multi-stakeholder, technical, and matrixed organizational environment. Conduct analysis and convey complex data and information in a clear and concise manner. Coordinate and lead meetings and data gathering and oversee junior staff. This position requires the ability to work across the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience in a project management support role

-2+ years of experience with complex or large projects 
-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook

-Ability to critically assess data and communicate priority findings to teams 

-Ability to be flexible, show initiative and innovation, and deal with ambiguous and fast-paced situations 

-Ability to manage client and team relationships 

-Ability to influence clients and teams to adjust approaches and try new capabilities
-Ability to obtain a security clearance 
-BA or BS degree required 

Additional Qualifications:  

-Experience with supporting programs and contracts within the federal government

-Possession of excellent data gathering, analytical, and problem-solving skills 

-PMP Certification
