Project Management Office Resource Specialist, Senior

Key Role:

Support the senior resource manager in a building a strong candidate pipeline for current and future hiring efforts while being a member of a Project Management Office (PMO) team managing a large government IT contract. Serve as the primary sourcing and recruiting liaison for a large task area, supporting the task leads in sourcing talent for a variety of IT positions. Communicate with task leads and recruiting teams to gain a better comprehension of the required talent pool and job profiles. Work with recruiting to initiate candidate intake. Conduct Labor Category (LCAT) compliance checks and financial fit for new program candidates, as appropriate. Coordinate interviews with task leads and the recruiting team for internal, external candidates, and subcontractors regarding talent needs.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with project or program management support

-Experience with data management

-Experience with facilitating meetings, keeping attendees focused on defined objectives, and communicating information to senior executives for decision making purposes

-Experience with using Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

-Ability to gather information and synthesize it into presentable content for senior leadership and the client

-Ability to collaborate across teams, functions, and geographical regions and engage with team members at all levels

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs

-Experience with using SharePoint

-Experience with conducting Labor Category compliance checks

-Experience with supporting sourcing and recruiting for a government contract

-Ability to contribute to the knowledge base of the group sharing new information about industries and talent pools or profile types

-Possession of excellent analytical skills
