Project Management Tool Administrator

The Challenge:

Do you want to keep developing your technical skills while expanding your knowledge to include aspects of program management?  If this sounds like you, we are excited to announce a unique opportunity to become an online program management tool expert!

We’re looking for someone with experience developing and maintaining interfaces in SharePoint, creating applications and add-ins, and using relational databases. The role will be technical, with you configuring and maintaining the management tools, developing new reports and customizing views. To help you be successful, we will provide you a background in program management principles and scheduling. No program management experience is required- you provide the technical background, we have mentors to help guide you in your development.

There is an increasing demand for experts who not only understand the technical side of setting up and maintaining program management tools that deliver value to project managers, but also have an in-depth knowledge of the end user’s needs. Your prior technical knowledge, combined with our renowned project management experience, will allow you to excel – creating value-added tools, intuitive reports, and impactful visualizations to aid program managers across the firm.

You Have:

-1+ years of experience as a SharePoint administrator or developer,  including the design, implementation, configuration and administration of Microsoft SharePoint 2010 or later

-Experience with source or version control for software development, the systems development life cycle (SDLC), and general industry best practices for development

-Experience with Web application connectivity to a variety of data sources, including relational database set up, structure, and querying

-Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Office365 applications

-Knowledge of core SharePoint-related tools, including .NET tools, Active Directory, JavaScript, PowerShell, PowerBI, Visio, SQL Server, HTML, and CSS

-Ability to be flexible, show initiative and innovation, deal with ambiguous and fast-paced situations, and successfully manage client and team relationships

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

-Possession of excellent data gathering, analytical, and problem solving skills, including assessing information critically and communicating priority findings to teams clearly
