Project Manager / Acquisition Analyst

Key Role:

Provide acquisition and project management support to the government within a DoD program management office. Maintain responsibility for the development of executive briefings, compilation of program management reports, action item collection and monitoring, development of standard tracking and reporting tools for effective program management, and supporting a variety of special projects, as assigned. Work effectively with higher headquarters staff and related program management offices. Support client meetings, including preparing meeting agendas and capturing minutes. Develop Acquisition Decision Memorandums (ADMs), decision and action memos and inputs to acquisition documentation. Coordinate with contract support staff to identify challenges, determine solutions, and offer recommendations

Basic Qualifications:

-7 years of experience in project management

-5 years of experience with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

-3 years of experience with DoD acquisition processes

-Experience with preparing client executive briefings, reports, and memos

-Knowledge of DoD Acquisition, Schedule, and Risk Management policies and procedures

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Remedy, IBM Jazz, or other system/software life cycle or collaboration tools

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

-Ability to learn quickly and be a critical thinker and active listener

-Ability to be self-motivated and add value to the organization

-Ability to meet deadlines, remain flexible, adhere to project plans, and ensure any conflicts are brought to the attention of management team

-Ability to be detail-oriented

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent organization skills
