Project Manager

Key Role:

Serve as project manager for USCYBERCOM related to the identifying, tracking, and managing command elevation tasks and for tasks associated with Joint Force Provider (JFP), Joint Force Trainer (JFT), and IT management. Develop a detailed project plan and work breakdown structure to track, manage tasks, and identify risks to accomplishing tasks or when tasks fall behind schedule and assess and provide recommendations to mitigate the risks or reschedule their completion. Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility and complete assigned workflow tasks thoroughly and timely following reporting formats. Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs, create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, track project performance to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals, and develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients and other staff members. Provide advice on the management of the project to directorate supervisors, identify and coordinate cross-project dependencies to ensure consistency of progress toward accomplishing defined goals, perform evaluations of existing procedures, processes, techniques, models, and systems to identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions. Interface with partners and stakeholders to perform enterprise-wide horizontal integration planning, ensure compliance with all regulatory and administrative requirements imposed by the contract in coordination with the contractor’s contracts staff, and communicate issues and solutions to the government program manager (PM) and COR in a timely and transparent manner.

Basic Qualifications:

-10 years of experience as a project manager

-Knowledge of USCYBERCOM’s structure

-Ability to play strict attention to detail and organization

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree in Program Management, Business Management, Economics, Political Science, CS, Engineering, Law, Government Contracting, Finance, or Accounting or 5 years of experience as a project manager in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

-CAPM, PMP, or equivalent Certification preferred
