Property Audit Readiness Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Provide business transformation and risk mitigation services to support the advancement of the DoD Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) program, focusing on the business processes, internal controls, and systems related to government asset property, equipment, materials accountability. Serve as the subject matter expert and assist with the standardization and strengthening of applicable processes and controls. Process and control documentation, performing gap and risks analyses, including evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls and completeness accuracy of amounts recorded to the general ledger, and implementing corrective actions to mitigate process and control deficiencies in support of obtaining an unmodified audit opinion. Work performance is located on client site in Honolulu, HI with potential for travel.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with property, logistics, inventory, or supply management support within DoD
-Knowledge of government property management and supply processes, systems, and programs, such as Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), Government Purchase Card Program, including summary filled order, expenditure difference listing (SFOEDL), Underwater Object Location & Search (UOLs), Annual Price Changes, Stock Control
-Active Secret clearance 

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley or OMB Circular A-123, Appendix A compliance
-Experience with audit readiness or financial statement and internal control audit 
-Experience with risk assessments and gap analyses 
-Experience in business process documentation and improvement 
-Experience in Microsoft Office suite 

-Knowledge of Department of Navy, including working in DPAS and RSupply
