Quality Assurance Engineer Lead

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for participating in the evolution and execution of procedures for ensuring the quality of new features and releases of software. Author and execute test plans for manual and automated tests. Isolate, reproduce, and track bugs and verify fixes. Manage and maintain defect and test case databases. Maintain Alpha, Beta, and Live–to–Site entry criteria. Assist with the assessment and planning of test efforts required for new functions and features under development. Work on advanced complex technical projects or business issues requiring state–of–the–art technical knowledge or industry. Perform as the in–house expert on specific technologies.


Basic Qualifications:


-5+ years of experience with managing quality assurance activities

-5+ years of experience with CMMI or other process improvement initiatives

-Experience with analysis

-Experience with CMMI and ISO 9001

-Experience with Microsoft Excel formulas and macros required

-Ability to perform quantitative analysis and develop measurements and metrics for quantifying quality and process compliance

-Ability to comprehend QA processes, follow QA process guidelines, create and update test cases, and perform requirements traceability to ensure all requirements are tested and accounted for

-Active TS/SCI clearance required

-BA or BS degree

-ASQ CMQ/OE, CQE, or CSQE Certification


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with supporting DoD Programs

-Ability to be a team player and drive collaborative efforts to improve product quality

-Ability to comprehend a workflow and work with a product team to improve process and inject quality checks at appropriate junctions

-Ability to translate QA principles and best practices to functional teams

-Possession of excellent organizational skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree in CS, Mathematics, Engineering, or a technical–related field

-PMP Certification a plus


Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
