Radar Systems Engineer

Key Role:
​Provide subject matter expertise to Air Force and stakeholder decision makers. Translate user needs, technology capabilities, and system performance into objective and measurable technical criteria defining minimum system functions and performance levels. Identify and assess technical risk and recommend mitigation approaches. Develop and manage a requirements database. Provide technical insight into generating, emitting, receiving, and processing RF signals. Determine required intelligence and engineering data to properly emulate threat systems with high fidelity. Investigate candidate technologies that will be required to achieve threat system requirements and assess risk. Develop technical reports, make recommendations to senior DoD clients, and work with government and corporate stakeholders to implement recommended solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
-10+ years of experience with air traffic control or air defense radar
-Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
-Ability to interface with internal and external clients
-Active TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-Knowledge of radio frequency (RF) spectrum allocation and management processes

-Knowledge of tactical aircraft avionics responses to threat RF signals
-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-BS degree in Engineering preferred; MS degree a plus

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
