Radio Frequency Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Develop and apply advanced RF hardware design methods, theories, algorithms, and research in the investigation of new and challenging Electronic Warfare techniques and systems. Plan, conduct, and technically direct projects or major phases of significant projects. Conduct investigations and tests of considerable complexity. Review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects. Evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services. Provide technical consultation to other organizations and leadership to junior employees.


Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with providing Radio Frequency (RF) engineering and test support
-Experience with radar or electronic countermeasure architectures and the design of radar systems and components
-Experience with MATLAB
-Experience with electronic counter measure techniques
-Experience with RF hardware and antenna modeling and simulation
-Experience with phased array antennas
-Secret clearance

-BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics and 8+ years of experience with applicable hardware design


Additional Qualifications:

-Ability to model RF system and techniques
-Ability to integrate radar and RFCM system models into a closed loop simulation
-Possession of excellent technical writing skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
-MA or MS degree preferred


Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
