Radio Frequency Engineer, Senior

Key Role:
Use technical and analytical expertise to explore and examine data from multiple disparate sources with the goal of discovering patterns and previously hidden insights that can provide a recommended technical path forward for the development of high power microwave (HPM) and radio frequency (RF) performance. Use expertise in experimental design, software development, and the latest technologies to analyze and implement analysis infrastructure and tools, analytic workflow processes, and complex data visualizations. Leverage knowledge of mathematical and statistical concepts to meet analytic requirements.
 

Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with the development, testing and evaluation of RF or HPM systems, including test design, execution, analysis of results, and reporting
-Experience with RF or microwave signal generation and test equipment, including vacuum devices, tubes, radars and high-power RF systems and digital signal processing or HPM source testing and evaluation
-Experience with aspects of laboratory and field testing, including setting test goals, analyzing test methodologies, organizing and conducting tests, reducing test data, and analyzing results
-Ability to receive, digest, and implement instruction from seasoned SMEs, then react and develop products independently with limited oversight
-Ability to conduct effects-based weapon design methodology, perform extensive target characterization and testing on full systems and components, and identify key HPM waveform parameters to feed weapon system design
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
 

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with providing theoretical predictions to explore the impact of target configuration and possible countermeasures for electronic targets of interest
-Knowledge of using MatLab for developing scripts and GUIs to support data analysis and test planning
-Knowledge of software tools, including NCSS and JUMP for test design cases where statistical analysis is required
-Knowledge of the Joint RF Effects Module (JREM), including predicting the expected effectiveness of different RF systems against various electronic targets
