Rail/Transit Strategy Consultant

Key Role:

Analyze the delivery of multiple project initiatives designed to enhance the services and level of support provided to the client. Maintain responsibility for analyzing the overall planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and delivery of all projects prioritized in alignment with the client’s expectations and business needs. Ensure ongoing process and system capabilities are associated with projects and manage any changes required to meet or exceed the expectations established in project designs. Direct the activities of consultants, analysts, specialists, and sub-contractors and maintain responsibility for ensuring the appropriate resources are allocated and maintained to facilitate the successful completion of multiple projects. Act as the specialist on complex technical and business matters. Determine work priorities based on general direction from managers.

Basic Qualifications:

-6+ years of experience in the transportation field as a consultant or direct operations, including client and project management

-Experience with Microsoft Excel or Access

-Ability to manage multiple assignments in a multi-disciplinary project team environment

-Ability to solve complex client problems and prioritize and manage work across multiple work efforts or clients independently

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with transportation, capital planning, construction, infrastructure, grants management, or environmental permitting
-Experience with risk assessment or management

-Experience with Excel VBA programming preferred

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including presenting ideas persuasively in written deliverable and oral presentation formats

-Possession of excellent leadership and analytical skills

-Public Trust clearance

-MBA, MA, or MS degree a plus

-PMP Certification
