R&D Acquisition Project Analyst

Key Role:

Execute independent decisions within established guidelines, and perform a full range of administrative services, including making appointments, scheduling meetings and invitations, and arranging logistics. Perform clerical duties, including scanning, copying, managing the calendar, making travel arrangements, and serving as the team expert on matters pertaining to administrative procedures. Organize and maintain filing systems, answer phones, contribute to building and working in a team of administrative professionals, and attend meetings, events, and functions, take notes, and record minutes for filing and distribution to team members. Organize local and out-of-state events, manage event budget and finances, send invitations and process responses, generate and manage correspondence, handle local arrangements, attend to protocol details, coordinate with site staff, specify and order meals, including compiling information packets, hosting distinguished visitors, assembling welcome packets. Work independently within the full range of administrative responsibilities and collaborate, and promote a team environment on the team and with key client leaders. Exhibit discretion and excellent judgment in the access and handling of sensitive information, including personnel records and other federal sensitive information. Maintain responsibility for organization, prioritization, and scheduling for clients and maintain continuity of office in their absence. This position is located in Rome, NY.

Basic Qualifications:

-2 years of experience with research and development (R&D) in the national security domain, including providing services to industry, universities, or federal and state government organizations
-Experience with providing program management services, including managing schedules, e-mail and travel agendas.
-Experience in management of library style organization of materials, including databases, and spreadsheets

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

-Ability to act independently with limited guidance to ensure government research program objectives are met
-Ability to multi-task independently in a fast-paced environment
-Secret clearance
-BS or BA degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience working in a federal R&D environment
-Possession of excellent organizational and prioritization skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Top Secret clearance
-MBA degree
-PMP Certification
