Real Estate and Leasing Specialist - Developmental

Key Role:

Under limited supervision, actively assist in all aspects of real estate acquisition and disposal. Assist in development of customer requirements, cost estimates, market surveys, site evaluation and selection, competitive or sole source acquisition process, and preparation and maintenance of lease documentation. Implement policies and procedures for real property lease management. Prepare real estate briefings, staff papers, responses to a wide variety of data calls, and develop briefings for customers and senior leadership.


Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience at the Developmental level accomplishing tasks similar to the key role description

-Experience with federal or commercial leasing or real property, including facilities, property management, or contract administration

-Ability to work long hours, including nights and weekends occasionally to complete negotiations or assignments within the required timeframe

-Ability to travel within the United States

-TS/SCI clearance

-HS Diploma or GED


Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge with Federal Acquisition Regulations, Federal Property Management, and General Services Administration Acquisition Regulations.

-Knowledge of negotiating techniques, appraisal, market surveys, property management, contracting procedures, and project management.

-Ability to show motivation to develop federal real estate expertise through formal training and on-the-job experience

-Ability to handle multiple, demanding, and complex project in a timely manner with accurate results

-Ability to work independently and in team situations

-BA or BS degree

-Active Real Estate License preferred. Professional Project Management certification preferred.


Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance.
