Real Property Specialist

Key Role:

Provide analytical support for the preparation of budgets and financial status documentation, including charts, briefings, cost projections, and progress reports. Analyze planned activities, identify critical paths, and prepare and develop program status reports and affordability assessments. Support the identification and development of updates to the Acquisition Management System (AMS) for real property policy, guidance, and templates, including leases and supporting documents and forms. Support the housing program by monitoring tenant managers and budgets, provide cost estimation and financial analysis to headquarters personnel, conduct site surveys, and meet regularly with housing managers to ensure the quality and quantity of the housing inventory. Establish and maintain real property training and real estate certification program governance.

Basic Qualifications:

-6 years of experience with facilities management, real estate, or contracts and acquisition for federal agencies

-Experience with federal budget formulation and execution processes

-Ability to organize and gather project data independently, conduct analysis, prepare reports, and provide customer recommendations

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with FAA-specific real estate policy and guidance

-Experience with FAA contracting and financial tools, including DELPHI and PRISM

-Experience with using Lean Six Sigma principles and tools for process improvements

-MA or MS degree
