Regional Maritime Analyst

Key Role:  
Serve as intelligence support for analysis of all maritime issues within the area of responsibility (AOR). Liaise between command and component commands regarding foreign navies and maritime counter-threats. Conduct extensive analysis of maritime topics through all-source analysis with a heavy focus on SIGINT to provide informed recommendations for naval operations and initiatives. Remain abreast of the Special Operations mission and operational priorities and maintain daily awareness of current maritime events within the European theater. Conduct temporary assignments to support client operations and exercises, when required. Support intelligence activities, including supporting planning and developing and recommending courses of action for operation management, policy making, and oversight actions. This position requires the ability to travel throughout Europe to facilitate operations with other team countries.
 

Basic Qualifications:
-4+ years of experience in working or coordinating with Maritime Operational Intelligence Centers
-3+ years of experience in a Service or Combatant Command
-Experience with signals intelligence (SIGINT)
-Ability to travel throughout Europe with a valid passport
-Ability to travel or work flex hours to meet client requirements
-Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

-HS diploma or GED
 
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with intelligence or collection activities
-Experience with writing and editing clear, concise intelligence products
-Experience with operational and activity-based intelligence
-Knowledge of the EUCOM AOR
-Ability to liaise, work collaboratively, and build communities of interest regarding client requirements
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including expertise in presentations

-BA or BS degree
