Regional Program Support Analyst

Key Role:

Support the analysis and management of language immersion events, including Language Intensive Training Events (LITE) and Regional Affairs Strategist Immersions (RASI) for the Air Force Culture and Language Center (AFCLC). Evaluate student management and enrollment processes and information systems. Provide recommendations to streamline scheduling and enrollment activities, travel, and student data management. Develop metrics to monitor student progress and performance and prepare trend projections and statistics reports. Evaluate and manage extensive and detailed coordination for RASI participants' domestic or international travel, including providing logistical support to RASI travelers, creating travel and flight itineraries, monitoring and updating Aircraft Automated Clearance System (APACS) requests, providing support for LEAP participants in the application and completion of visas and passports, and providing ongoing customer support to LEAP participants. This position is located in Montgomery, AL.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with Microsoft Office 2007 and 2010, including Access and Excel and PowerPoint

-Experience with conducting research and data gathering to develop sound courses of action for implementation

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BS or BA degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with action officer type, including staff package coordination processes, and coordination with NAF, MAJCOM, Air Force and DoD customers

-Experience with Air Force travel processes, information systems, and requirements

-Knowledge of the Air Force Tongue and Quill and Air Force administrative practices

-Knowledge of Air Force and DoD structure and organization

-Ability to be detail-oriented, coordinate verbally and in writing at all levels and work independently

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
