Requirements Analyst

Key Role:
Manage requirements gathering and prioritization for a program. Capture and document technical and operational requirements for the target system. Manage derived documents and trace system verification, including validating against documented requirements. Formulate and define system scope and objective based on both user needs and knowledge of applicable business systems and industry requirements.  Analyze procedures to solve complex problems while considering computer equipment capability and limitations, operating time, and form of preferred results, including analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications. Provide systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment. Evaluate system requirements gathering and participate in analyses, studies, exercises, tests, evaluations, and demonstrations for the customer.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years experience as a requirements analyst

-Experience with defining, translating and simplifying business requirements

-Experience with documenting business rules and impacted processes or systems

-Experience with documenting functional specifications

-Experience with gathering and documenting technical and operational requirements and creating mock ups

-Experience with developing and documents requirements traceability matrixes to confirm all requirements are successfully translated into design documents

-Experience with supporting testing and validation activities to confirm requirements are successfully translated to technology solutions

-TS/SCI clearance

-BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with DoD clients preferred

-Ability to work with leadership, functional groups, and development teams

-Ability to work independently under general direction

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
