Requirements Analyst

Key Role:

Identify the client's and stakeholders' business and system requirements and decompose those needs into actionable system requirements and testable criteria. Maintain responsibility for analyzing complex client problems to formulate and document functional and technical requirements. Develop and maintain responsibility for requirements information, including requirements traceability matrix artifacts and associated data within JIRA. Conduct document reviews of requirements and support test strategies with the solutions assurance team. Support process improvement initiatives for requirements’ key process areas. Serve as a liaison between clients, delivery teams, and data integration developers to communicate client needs to the greater project.

Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience with working across the Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SELC), including development, test, and program management support

-2+ years of experience with documenting system requirements on Agile or Waterfall projects

-Knowledge of documenting business rules and impacted processes or systems

-Knowledge of documenting functional specifications

-Ability to gather and document technical and operational requirements

-Ability to work in a team-oriented, inclusive, collaborative work environment

-Ability to quickly grasp new concepts, comprehend the intent of a client’s needs, and help shape and form the solution

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with facilitating requirements gathering and tracking requirements across multiple teams

-Experience with IT services, the software development life cycle (SDLC), or technology deployments for federal government agencies

-Ability to work with leadership, functional groups, and development teams

-Ability to work independently under general direction

-Public Trust clearance

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
