Research Psychologist, Senior

Key Role:

Provide Scientific, Engineering, and Technical Assistance (SETA) support to the Government Program Manager (PM). Provide technical support and expertise in psychology related to human judgement and decision making. Assimilate and integrate technical inputs from performers, analyze performers' technical deliverables and reports, and conduct technical writing, development, and refinement of briefing materials and other program documentation using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Conduct independent reviews and summaries of related technical literature and emerging technologies and participate in conferences and workshops related to program technical areas. Develop and document testing methodologies and protocols, ensuring they align with program research components and assess performer results against program metrics. Coordinate, align, and schedule research tasks across multiple performers and analyze technical progress continuously in comparison to planned cost and schedule. Perform technical and programmatic risk analysis, review, and tracking. This position is located in the Washington metropolitan area.


Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with research in cognitive or social psychology in judgment and decision-making research
-Experience with applying experimental research methods

-Ability to manage multiple, concurrent tasks proactively

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
-PhD degree in Psychology


Additional Qualifications:

-2 years of experience in the intelligence community (IC) with requirements, CONOPS, and transition preferred

-Experience as a working analyst preparing products, including conclusions about complex domains, such as geopolitical analysis, financial analysis, organizational assessments, and lessons learned red teams preferred

-Experience with managing a multi-agency, multi-disciplinary test and evaluation team, preferred
