Research Scientist/Analyst

Key Role: 
Act as a research analyst and program evaluator embedded within DoD level agencies. Maintain responsibility for survey design, causal analysis, longitudinal analysis, interviewing or focus groups, and literature reviews, as needed. Balance competing deadlines, project work, and priorities and create compelling reports and deliverables that are both concise and thorough to help facilitate decision-making. Collect, analyze, and interpret data and assist senior level research staff with developing research designs and methodological approaches.

Basic Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience with health research
-Experience with quantitative research and analysis   
-Experience with SPSS, R, SAS, or STATA 
-Ability to communicate quantitative and qualitative research concisely and effectively  
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-MA or MS degree in Social Science, Psychology, Sociology, Demography, or Public Health 

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with client-faced interactions in a DoD or government setting 
-Ability to be team-oriented while being highly self-sufficient and self-motivated
-Ability to construct basic to moderately complex quantitative surveys 
-Ability to establish essential connections between data and insights and shape the direction of stakeholders’ research endeavors 
-Active Secret clearance
-PhD in Social Science, Psychology, Sociology, Demography, or Public Health and 1+ years of experience in a professional work environment
