Research Scientist

As a scientist or engineer on our team, you have the chance to design systems that process and analyze remote sensing imagery to support the DoD and intelligence community (IC). Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize image data analytics. You’ll develop your skills in remote sensing, programming, systems integration, and image science while gaining experience in the aerospace industry. Grow your skills by merging science and engineering with geospatial applications to create new algorithms and analytical processes. You Have:

-9 years of experience research, algorithm development, application development, or engineering

-Experience with Java, C++, or Python

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree in CS, Information Science, or EE

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with one or more of the following: C#, Ruby, ENVI IDL, Hadoop, GeoServer, PostGreSQL, PostGIS, Oracle Spatial, Accumulo, or MongoDB

-Experience with MATLAB

-Experience with radar processing

-Experience with the Scale GEOINT processing system

-Experience with geospatial analyst workflows

-Experience with Windows, Linux, or UNIX computer operating system configuration

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
