Researcher

Key Role:
Serve as a scientific or technical expert in biological or biochemical sciences. Work with world-class scientists in driving forward research efforts. Perform bench science or work in a laboratory setting, as needed. Provide strategic assessments of new technologies to support an organization's goals, create technical reports, present findings, track technical progress, analyze the development of technology program plans, and perform other tasks, as required by the client. Assist with technical program management, program analysis, and briefing materials for government R&D efforts. Develop expertise in delivering high-quality work products to support projects. Guide the activities of others on a set of defined tasks, as needed. Complete assignments that offer ever-increasing levels of responsibility and client interaction while deepening expertise. Prioritize deliverables and work independently with little guidance. Begin to offer solutions and new ideas and identify opportunities to grow existing business or support firm-wide initiatives. Interact regularly with clients and present work products to clients when called upon.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience in an intern or research role

-Knowledge of analytical processes

-Knowledge of entrepreneurship for science

-Ability to operate in an ambiguous environment with diverse teams with various backgrounds.

-Ability to obtain a security clearance required

-BA or BS degree in Life Sciences required

Additional Qualifications:

-MA or MS degree preferred

-Completion of a master's thesis project in a related field
