Resource and Readiness Analyst

Key Role:

Provide resource and readiness analysis to a Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF). Evaluate the cost-benefit ratio of individual exercises on the MEF Training and Exercise Employment Plan (TEEP) using Defense Readiness Reporting System - Marine Corps (DRRS-MC) and C2RAM data, taking into consideration exercise budgets and training and readiness value, based on mission essential tasks and training and readiness requirements. Assist the client with preparing, coordinating, and executing bi-annual Joint Task Force certifications and provide analysis of MEF Command Element staff section Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS) input of major exercise training objectives. Provide analysis and advise the client on the completeness and applicability of Joint Task Force Headquarters required products, including Joint Manning Document (JMD), Joint Training Plan (JTP), and Joint Mission Essential Equipment List (JMEEL). Synthesize MEF and Major Subordinate Commands or Elements training, maintenance, supply, and manpower readiness and provide analysis on MEF Operational Plan (OPLAN) readiness. Coordinate with various MEFs, MSCs or MSEs, and MEF Material Readiness Board to conduct analysis to derive the impact of training, maintenance, supply, and manpower readiness levels to MEF OPLAN preparedness and execution. Assist the client with preparing for and attending monthly readiness working groups and Commandant of the Marine Corps Quarterly Readiness Boards (CMC QRB).

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with one of the following planning processes: Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC), Marine Corps Planning Process (MCPP), or other DoD planning process

-Ability to establish and develop a network of relationships, effectively participate in operational planning teams OPT to solve problems, organize, set priorities, develop plan of action and milestones (POA&M), monitor progress towards goals, and track details, data, information, and activities
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
