Response Analyst

Key Role:
Serve as an incident responder and first line of the Army's Cyber defense, including identifying and responding to Cyber threats. Maintain responsibility for planning and directing Army enterprise incident response operations. Leverage knowledge of computer and network architecture used to provide analysis during investigations, including identifying adversarial activity and methods for future detection and prevention. Apply experience with senior functional Joint and Army Cyberspace operations planning in accordance with MDMP-based planning and execution used to analyze the development of concepts of operations (CONOPS), concept plans, operations orders, operations plans, fragmentary orders, execution orders, exercise directives, standard operating procedures, implementation plans, requirements definition and analysis, Cyberspace operations tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), assessments, and other planning products, as requested. Participate in Cyber defense exercise development, planning, and participation. Provide thought leadership and research and present options for improving enterprise Cyberspace operations and systems development. This position requires the ability to work a set schedule of 2-10 pm Monday - Friday.


Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with planning or performing defensive Cyberspace operations
-Experience with operational and exercise planning methodologies
-Knowledge of systems administration, network engineering, and security engineering
-Ability to lead and serve in a team to complete the mission and work well under pressure to rapidly scope and investigate incidents
-TS/SCI clearance
-DoD 8570 Certification


Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of networking concepts and analysis tools and operating systems, software, and security controls
-Ability to perform independent research and report on findings
-Ability to apply originality and creativity to problem solving
-Ability to be a detail-oriented self-starter and quick learner
-Ability to perform analysis with strict attention to detail and display solution orientation to learn and adapt quickly
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including communicating effectively under normal and stressful situations
-BA or BS degree in Engineering, CS, Information Security, or Information Systems

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
