Return-To-Work: STEM Apprenticeship Program Engineer - Intern

The firm has partnered with the Society of Women Engineers to offer a 12-week apprenticeship focusing on women and men who have previously had a career in STEM and took a break. iRelaunch is a 12 week program targeting those with at least 3 years prior experience in a STEM field and are at least 2 years out of the work force to come join the Booz Allen team to determine if they want to return to work again. During the internship, interns can assess the demands of workplaces on their families or lifestyle, reboot their expertise through focused training, and enjoy the challenge of stretching themselves out of their comfort zones.


Key Role:

  • Develop technical expertise in line with market needs of the Booz Allen Dayton office
  • Revitalize career in a safe environment with built in training
  • Produce deliverables that support the clients mission while solving their toughest problems

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields in a professional work environment
  • Ability to complete individual tasks effectively and work in a team environment
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Possession of excellent time management and analytical skills
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • BA or BS degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) field preferred; BA or BS degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or Systems Development a plus

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
