RF Exploitation Tester

Key Role:

Develop radio communications solutions for a variety of government applications. Perform proof-of-concept modeling and simulations. Develop models of wireless communications systems, including advanced modulation, FEC coding, and multiple access schemes. Design and develop defensive and offensive RF Cyber techniques. Implement and demonstrate solutions using software defined radio development platforms in conjunction with adversarial processes and capabilities to conduct overt-focused target penetration testing, including Cooperative Vulnerability and Penetration Assessment (CVPA) of Air Force operational platforms through focused threat-based methodologies to expose and exploit vulnerabilities and evaluate and improve the Cyber resiliency of these platforms. Apply expertise in military avionics systems, air platform communication, and physical or networking interfaces, including tactical data links and RF and satellite communication systems. Leverage reach-back support, including reaching back to Booz Allen personnel with a working knowledge of these technologies. Participate in event planning stages to analyze the development of assessment plans and conduct vulnerability assessments and testing of Air Force weapons systems and associated components. This position is located in Eglin Air Force Base, FL.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with communications system design

-Experience with the modeling and simulation of communications waveforms

-Experience with communications and signal processing principles

-Experience with MATLAB, C, or C++

-Ability to travel to stateside and international locations approximately 25% of the time

-Active Secret clearance

-MS degree in EE

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of military avionics systems, including control bus, such as MIL–STD–1553 and messaging protocols, such as ARINC 429, and air platform communication physical or networking interfaces

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

-Top Secret clearance preferred; TS/SCI clearance a plus

-8570 IAT Level III Certification preferred
