RMF and IA Certification and Accreditation Specialist

Key Role:

Provide technical analysis for information assurance (IA) support and integration efforts and analyze certification and accreditation (C&A) documentation for a client's operational systems, networks, applications, and information security (INFOSEC) product evaluation and documentation. Conduct risk assessments and risk mitigation analysis and analyze the development of contingency plans. Certify and accredit DoD information systems and networks and platform IT. Assess program security compliance, support program briefs, and coordinate and compile program security documentation for various programs. Provide A&A and Cybersecurity support, including risk management framework (RMF) for DoD IT, assess compliance with security technical implementation guides (STIGs), review automated scans, conduct security test and evaluation (ST&E), vulnerability assessments, and computer security responses, and create and manage RMF packages using the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS). Provide results of unresolved discrepancies to the client for inclusion in that system’s IA Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M).

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with IT networking
-3+ years of experience with the DoD C&A process and standards and network environment
-3+ years of experience with system and network vulnerability analysis, risk assessment and risk mitigation analysis, security test and evaluation (ST&E), contingency planning, firewall policy, ports, and protocols.
-Knowledge of IA or INFOSEC concepts and requirements
-Knowledge of Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (e-MASS)

Secret clearance required

-HS diploma or GED

-IAT Level 2 DoD 8570.1M Certifications, including Security+

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with IA systems, including ACAS and HBSS

-Top Secret clearance preferred
