You Have:

-Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) communications and military and commercial satellite design, architecture, and operations

-Experience with analyzing large data sets to identify potential trends and gaps and evaluate and forecast next generation communications capabilities

-Experience with Military Satellite Communications (MILSATCOM) and networking and working relationships across the DoD SATCOM community

-Experience with using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to conduct analysis, develop point or issue papers, and articulate findings and recommendations to the client and across the DoD community

-Ability to provide detailed and thoughtful recommendations to the client

-Ability to independently meet with and brief senior DoD officers and work closely across multiple DoD agencies and services

-Ability to plan, organize, and lead working groups and tiger teams

-Active Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree


Nice If You Have:

-Experience with MILSATCOM relating to legacy and next generation Narrowband SATCOM capabilities, including UHF Follow-On (UFO) and Mobile User Objective System (MUOS)

-Experience with MILSATCOM relating to legacy and next generation Protected SATCOM capabilities, including Military Strategic and Tactical Relay (MILSTAR), Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF) satellites, and Enhanced Polar System (EPS)

-Experience with satellite network and terminal transition strategies and implementation plans across the Combatant Commands, Services, and Agencies

-Experience with Commercial SATCOM (COMSATCOM) relating to legacy and next generation capability

-Knowledge of INMARSAT and Iridium or the Iridium NEXT capability offering

-Knowledge of Integrated Waveform (IW) and Wideband Code Division Multiple Access (WCDMA) capability fielding

-Knowledge of Protected Tactical Waveform (PTW) and Protected Tactical Enterprise Services (PTES)

-Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Active TS/SCI clearance preferred

-BS degree in Engineering or a technical field preferred; MA or MS degree in EE, Aerospace Engineering, or Systems Engineering a plus
