Scheduler/Planner

Key Role:

Work as a scheduler/planner, including acting as a member of the team supporting the Veterans Administration's Electronic Health Records Modernization Program (EHRM). Develop and maintain the Office of Information and Technology (OIT) EHRM integrated master schedule (IMS). Maintain responsibility for developing and managing the schedule, work breakdown structure (WBS), and coordination with stakeholders. Gather and consolidate the EHRM and OIT subject matter expert (SME) schedule information and input into an overarching OIT EHRM integrated master schedule. Support the SME in their planning needs, if needed. 

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with Microsoft Project

-Experience with developing IMS and WBS

-Experience with supporting senior leadership presentations, data calls, and interagency collaboration

-Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Information and Technology (OIT)

-BA or BS degree in Engineering, CS, Systems, Business, Science, or Technology and 15 years of experience in a professional work environment or 18 years of experience in a professional work environment in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with cross-organization communication and coordination

-Knowledge of VA’s OIT organization to Veteran-focused Integration Process (VIP) processes
