Security Data Analyst

Key Role:

Apply expertise in quantitative analysis and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and comprehend how users interact with core and business products. Work collectively in a team environment to help track and manage compliance within Booz Allen’s security program. Assist senior analysts and program leadership with data collection, management, quality reviews, and compliance across multiple data reporting platforms. Track compliance through various reporting mechanisms, manage e-mails and communications, and address problems of data integration, compatibility, and metrics collection for time-sensitive projects.


Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with Excel spreadsheets and visualizing data and executing formulas for data sorting, pivot tables, and macros

-Experience with using Microsoft products, including Outlook e-mail and managing several mailboxes simultaneously

-Experience with developing, collecting, and visualizing metrics

-Ability to integrate large, dynamic data sets from multiple reports to identify inconsistencies and quality issues

-Ability to be a highly organized multi-tasker to handle several ongoing projects and flexible to pivot priorities as program needs shift

-Ability to be detail-oriented and independently validate and analyze data

-Ability to comprehend and communicate complex program processes

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro to build and edit PDFs

-Ability to write professionally for external communications, reports to senior leadership, and team templates

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree in Mathematics, Statistics, CS, Business, or similar field preferred
