Security Engineer

Key Role:

Implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information. Identify, define, and implement system security requirements. Design computer security architecture and develop detailed Cybersecurity designs. Analyze and document standard operating procedures and protocols. Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices. Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks. Write comprehensive reports, including assessment–based findings, outcomes, and propositions for further system security enhancement

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with Cyber IT

-Experience as a system security engineer or information security engineer

-Experience with building and maintaining security systems

-Experience with security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti– virus software, authentication systems, log management, or content filtering

-Experience with network security, networking technologies, and system, security, and network monitoring tools

-Knowledge of database and operating system security

-Knowledge of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols

-Knowledge of methodologies, federal information system policies, including NIST 800.53, FISMA, Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), configuration management, and the client's mission and processes

-Top Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-TS/SCI clearance

-MS degree in CS, Information Assurance, or Information Security
-Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification


Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
