Semiconductor Engineer/Scientist, Mid

Key Role:

Perform research and system analysis of semiconductor technologies and underlying gate structures for several government and military programs. Perform design and prototyping using ASIC or FPGA technologies. Reverse engineer silicon-based architectures. Conduct electrical component failure analysis, reverse engineering, or electrical component IC design.


Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with semiconductor technologies, gate structures, or IC or ASIC design
-Experience with programming and scripting languages on both Windows and Linux platforms
-Experience with analysis and development software, including MATLAB and LabView
-Knowledge of silicon structures for gates, registers, memory, and complex electronic logic functions
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:
-2+ years of experience with system design, integration, and prototyping
-1+ years of experience with computational electromagnetics solution methods, including MoM, PO or GO, UTD or GTD, and FTDT
-Experience with automated test equipment configuration
-Experience with circuit design, PCB design, debugging, and testing
-Experience with using EM methods for performing reverse engineering
-Experience with programming, debugging, and testing in Python, C++, assembly, or Perl
-Experience with Verilog or VHDL
-Experience with electrical component failure analysis
-Experience with device communications protocols, including RS232, SPI, PCI, I2C, USB, JTAG, and Ethernet
-Knowledge of high speed, high resolution data acquisition systems set-up and configuration
-Secret clearance
