Senior Analytics Program Manager

Key Role:
Act as the trusted advisor and technical leader for analytics development, methodology, and delivery to the head of a large government contract. Apply expertise in technical and analytical work to exploring and examining data from multiple disparate sources with the goal of discovering patterns and previously hidden insights that can provide a competitive advantage or address a pressing mission problem. Exhibit expertise in operations research, computer science, mathematics, and the emerging methodologies or technologies used to design and implement machine learning algorithms, including regression, classifiers, clustering, and neural nets, analysis infrastructure and tools, and analytic workflow processes. Leverage knowledge of mathematical and statistical concepts, computer science, and domain expertise to bridge the gap between technologists and mathematicians, including ensuring solutions meet analytic requirements. Maintain responsibility for planning and managing company resources to execute development project or project components from design phase through implementation. Identify and communicate project scope and ensure program milestones and objectives are met. Keep management informed of key issues and changes which may impact expected delivery results.

Basic Qualifications:

-15+ years of experience with descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive forms of analysis

-15+ years of experience in the DoD or intelligence community (IC), including solving complex DoD or military problems by using expertise in modeling and simulation and operations research

-10+ years of experience with operations research, statistical analysis, data mining, optimization, decision theory, discrete event simulation, and linear and non-linear programming

-Knowledge of machine learning concepts, artificial intelligence, and data science

-Ability to build functional teams and lead new capability development based on mission requirements and client needs

-Ability to distill mission requirements from client interactions, tactfully driving vision and strategy with government client for machine learning and analytic solutions-Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and be a dynamic, self-starter with strict attention to detail who functions independently
-TS/SCI clearance

-MS degree in Operations Research, Advanced Analytics, or Data Science

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with teaching graduate-level courses in modeling and simulation, statistics, or wargaming

-Experience with serving on technical boards for the DoD

-Experience with building relationships and breaking into new organizations

-Experience with managing remote and onsite staff

-Ability to be results-oriented, self-motivated, organized, disciplined, and energetic
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including using them when informing, presenting, negotiating, influencing, and problem solving with a wide range of people, including executives

-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills, including good judgement, tact, diplomacy, discretion, and maintaining confidences

-PhD in Operations Research, Advanced Analytics, Data Science, or a related field
