Service Desk Technician

Key Role:

Perform account management and creation in Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange. Assist and educate users on proper techniques for system operation. Log all incidents, requests, questions, tasks, and projects in BMC Remedy. Provide phone support and remote troubleshooting of client issues, issue Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) tokens as an onsite Trusted Agent (TA), and provide end-user software troubleshooting and support. Apply basic diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions. Maintain the creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation for all troubleshooting procedures. Move computer equipment, as requested to support office moves.


Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with IT systems administration

-Experience with the Windows 10 operating system

-Experience with troubleshooting Microsoft IT technologies

-Experience with documenting IT troubleshooting processes

-TS/SCI clearance

-HS diploma or GED


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with DoD IT security requirements

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree in a related field preferred

-DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification, including Security+

-Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) Certification
