SharePoint Administrator, Mid

Key Role:

Apply technical SharePoint and network development to support the medical development and sustainment of knowledge management solutions using SharePoint 2013. Play a critical role on the team, using SharePoint knowledge and management to provide critical support to the client's mission. Assist the client with the administration and configuration of SharePoint 2010 or 2013 SharePoint farms, manage and administrate SQL Server databases, perform migrations of SharePoint sites from 2010 to 2013 farm, install services packs, hotfixes, and updates to the SharePoint farms, and troubleshoot operations issues that may arise in the SharePoint environment. Configure and manage backups of SharePoint content SQL Server databases. Design PowerShell scripts to manage day-to-day tasks on Windows servers. Implement best practices for security and sever performance or optimizations. Build client relationships and thrive in a client site setting.


Basic Qualifications:
-4+ years of experience as a systems administrator
-2+ years of experience with Windows Server administration
-Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Reporting Services, Windows PowerShell scripting, IIS, and Microsoft Web Deploy systems
-Knowledge of security management using Active Directory and SharePoint
-Knowledge of SharePoint workflows, InfoPath forms, and SharePoint Designer
-Knowledge of SharePoint architecture, installation, service settings and configuration, and patching
-Secret clearance

-Security+ Certification or equivalent, including IAT Level II


Additional Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with SharePoint Server administration

-Experience with SQL database and transactional SQL programming

-Experience with troubleshooting general network issues

-Experience with defining and executing SharePoint governance

-Experience with gathering functional requirements and dealing with the functional and technical users of a system

-Experience with SQL reporting and analysis services in a SharePoint environment

-Experience with Microsoft .NET, C#, and Visual Studio

-Knowledge of advanced business workflow design

-Knowledge of the capabilities of SharePoint Designer 
-Knowledge of Agile development methodologies

-Knowledge of the Project Management Framework

-Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to revise requirements

-Possession of excellent client relationship, interpersonal, and team leadership and development skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree

-Microsoft SQL Server, .NET, and SharePoint Microsoft Certified Professional Certifications preferred
