SharePoint Administrator, Mid

Key Role:

Provide SharePoint 2013 and 2016 administration support. Apply expertise in and creativity to optimize the user interface for SharePoint-based solutions. Apply knowledge of SharePoint capabilities to recommend technical solutions that accommodate functional requirements. Install, configure, and support portal software releases and updates on an ongoing basis. Perform the tasks of a portal administrator, including starting or stopping services, monitoring portal usage and performance statistics, managing portal users, groups, and roles and object permissions, managing portal content and the reference library, extending the portal via Web-service integrations, portlets, and crawlers, managing the automation servers, troubleshooting portal-related problems, working with portal manufacturer support, and managing portal components.


Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with administering out-of-the-box (OOTB) solutions for SharePoint 2010 and 2013

-1+ years of experience with SharePoint 2013

-Experience with Microsoft Office products

-Knowledge of working with trouble tickets and change requests to coordinate resolution with submitter and content owners

-Ability to adapt a variety of technical tasks while working in a dynamic team environment

-Ability to conduct data gathering, research, and analysis, design and develop recommendations, and communicate through briefings and written documents

-Ability to develop and maintain technical design artifacts and requirements documentation

-TS/SCI clearance required

-BA or BS degree required


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with developing OOTB solutions for SharePoint 2016

-Experience with HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, and REST

-Experience with CSS3 and master page configuration

-Experience with the Agile development methodology

-Experience with Microsoft Visio a plus

-Experience with the Air Force or other DoD clients

-Ability to be a self-starter, multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision

-Ability to liaise between stakeholders, project managers, and a technical team to comprehend the client mission

-Possession of excellent team-oriented, team building, presentation, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
