Signature Reduction Technician

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for serving as a signature reduction (SR) technician with a US Army client conducting worldwide HUMINT operations. Prepare official SR documents, assessments, information reports, and standard operating procedures. Convey complex SR concepts both verbally and through official correspondence to senior clientele. Develop tactics, techniques, and procedures to streamline SR processes through liaison with local counterparts and expertise in SR policy at the Army and DoD level. Represent the client at working groups and information exchanges, when necessary.


Basic Qualifications:

-5 years of experience with working in the intelligence community (IC)

-Experience with intelligence operations and its various disciplines, functions, processes, and documentation

-Experience with HUMINT operations or writing analytic products following IC directives and guidance

-Knowledge of Army structure and defense level intelligence operations, including intelligence collection, fusion, analysis, production, and dissemination for intelligence databases and products

-Knowledge of intelligence automated systems

-Knowledge of intelligence oversight and security guidelines

-Knowledge of DoD signature reduction program and HUMINT operations

-Active TS/SCI clearance required

-HS diploma or GED

-Graduate of Basic Joint Operations Support Technician Course


Additional Qualifications:

-1 year of experience with signature reduction

-Experience with intelligence work in either military, government agency, or law enforcement

-Knowledge of IC policies, regulations, procedures, and processes pertinent to signature reduction

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills for presenting, briefing, or communicating analytical research material, including the use of multimedia presentations

-Possession of excellent research and analytical skills
