Signature Reduction Technician

Key Role: 

Support an Army client with developing, reviewing, processing, and coordinating command and DoD signature reduction (SIG REDUX) plans, annexes, policies, and directives. Assess specialized SIG REDUX documents and operational security programs used by DoD operational units and develop risk mitigation strategies based on assessments findings. Review mission requirements, acquisitions, and application processes to identify inherent risks and vulnerabilities that can negatively impact a variety of operational documents. Interact with clients to ensure their due diligence needs, including comprehend and meet requirements. Analyze processes to conduct due diligence of military operational proposals in accordance with DoD guidelines and published standards. Prepare and deliver signature reduction training to support and enhance unit readiness. Evaluate the sustainability of the unit’s signature reduction tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). Develop responses to SIG REDUX requirements and assigned taskers.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with working in the military or national intelligence community

-3+ years of experience with SIG REDUX as a planner or technician

-Knowledge of IC policies, regulations, procedures, and processes pertinent to SIG REDUX

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

-Graduate of a Due Diligence (DD) course

-Graduate of the Advanced Technician Course (ATC) or Joint Operations Support Technician Course – Basic

Additional Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience with CI or HUMINT operations

-Knowledge of the EUCOM Area of Responsibility

-Ability to conduct shift work, as reuested

-Graduate of the Advanced Planners Course (APC) or Joint Operations Support Technician Course - Advanced

-Specialized training from any intelligence collection and analysis school
