Software Code Evaluator

Key Role:

Apply expertise across the entire application technology stack. Leverage the full SDLC or DevOps pipeline to drive rapid, quality delivery of functionality to the client at the speed of their mission. Engage with multiple functional groups to comprehend client challenges, prototype new ideas and new technologies, and help create solutions to drive the next wave of innovation. Design, implement, schedule, test, and deploy full features and components of solutions. Ensure the quality delivery of software through thorough testing and reviews.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with code development in C, C++, Assembly, Java, or Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE) languages using IEEE or CMMI best practices

-Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and system design

-Knowledge of networking standards and protocols

-Knowledge of performing and documenting software designs by creating sequence, class, communication, deployment, and activity diagrams

-Ability to draft portions of technical documents, including software version descriptions, system design documents, and test scripts

-Ability to be a motivated self-starter, learn quickly, research new software development and analysis tools and techniques, work productively with a team, and support client meetings and deliverables

-Ability to travel to continental US client sites to meet with vendor developers 10-20% of the time

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with performing Oracle Database administration

-Experience with Hardware Development Languages (HDLs)

-Knowledge of Scrum or other Agile development methodologies

-Ability to use issue tracking tools, including JIRA or Confluence

-Ability to use and configure continuous integration, including Jenkins

-Ability to use and configure virtual machines, including VirtualBox or VMware

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent problem-solving skills

-Active TS/SCI clearance

-MS degree in Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or a related field a plus
