Software Configuration Manager

Key Role:
Protect the integrity of a project’s delivered products from code to technical documentation. Maintain responsibility for managing frequent changes to the, including maintaining the baseline configuration and managing configuration management for the changes. Regulate the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and software. Leverage modern configuration, application, and life cycle management tools and processes to maintain version control for software code, packages, libraries, containers, virtual machines, releases, and documents. Provide configuration management planning, own the project’s configuration management plan, facilitate configuration control boards, and establish the configuration management library. Apply extensive expertise in technical work, develop technical solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity, and interact with senior personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

Basic Qualifications:
-8+ years of experience with configuration management planning and change process implementation
-Ability to facilitate configuration management planning, including configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits
-Ability to regulate the change process to ensure approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents 
-Ability to provide system architecture support to multiple environments
-Ability to provide technical support to ensure that the architecture is well configured and fully optimized
-Ability to represent organization as prime technical contact on contracts and projects
-Active Secret clearance
-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:
-Ability to guide the successful completion of major programs and function in a project leadership role, as needed
-Ability to use computer software, including databases and statistical programs and modeling packages to analyze and solve problems
-BS degree in CS or Computer Engineering
