Software Cyber Anaylst

Key Role:

Assist in designing, developing or recommending integrated security system solutions to ensure proprietary confidential data and systems are protected. Provide technical engineering services for the support of integrated security systems and solutions. Participate with the client in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into technical designs. Assist in configuring and validating secure systems, including testing security products and systems to detect security weakness. Prepare materials for computer security education, and awareness programs. Respond to queries and requests for computer security information and reports.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with FISMA activities, including system security plans, contingency plans, incident response plans, configuration management plans, security control requirements and assessments, Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M), and training requirements

-Experience with applying NIST SP 800-37 Risk Management principles, interpreting requirements, and developing implementation guidance

-Experience with implementing requirements and guidance and analyzing policies, procedures, guidance, standards, and instructional materials

-Experience in working with interagency teams to design, develop, and implement FISMA compliant solutions that meet current and future business requirements and enhance and optimize the existing security architecture

-Knowledge of Federal Privacy requirements, including Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and personally identifiable information (PII)

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of an Agile, continuous integration and continuous delivery practices, and cloud

-Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously

-Possession of excellent analytical and organizational skills

-Possession of oral and written communication skills

-Public Trust clearance

-Security+ or CISSP Certification, preferred
