Software Developer, Junior

The Challenge:

As a full-stack developer, you can solve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast-paced, agile environment. We’re looking for a developer with the skills needed to build enhancements to a cloud based DevOps environment from vision to production-ready system. This role is more than just coding. We need a full-stack developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. Using coding language, you’ll work with the development team to build additional features to an existing flexible, robust, scalable system that provides the mission of information assurance and cyber support. You’ll analyze the needs and the environment to help make sure the solution the team develops considers the current architecture and operating environments as well as future functionality and enhancements. You Have:

-Experience with software development or IT in a professional work environment or academic setting

-Experience with C++, Java, or Python programming

-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-Scheduled to obtain a BS degree in Winter 2018 or Spring 2019

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with using one or more common build tools, including Ant, Maven, and Gradle and one integrated development environment (IDE), including NetBeans, Eclipse, or IntelliJ IDEA

-Experience with virtualization technology, including V-Sphere, VM-Player, and Virtual Box

-Experience with hardware and software evaluation

-Experience with the Linux or BSD operating system

-Experience with reverse engineering and IDAPro

-Experience with steganography or steganalysis

-Experience with cryptography or cryptanalysis

-Experience with the C programming language

-Experience with forensics

-BA or BS degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering preferred
