Software Developer

Key Role:
Support the software development and configuration management of various software baselines by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming. Provide software development support using languages that include Java, JavaScript, C#, PHP, R, Python, Groovy, and SQL. Use a software development kit (SDK) or application program interface (API) and all information assurance standards. Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions. Document all work by producing a package containing the body of work that includes solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.

Basic Qualifications:
-6+ years of experience with software systems in the USMC or DoD, including software requirements, software development, software testing, and configuration management software baselines
-Experience with Java, Python, and Red Hat OS 
-Experience with Microsoft products, including SQL Server 2012, 2014, and 2016, SSIS, and SSRS
-Experience with software evaluation
-Ability to plan and organize work and interact with technical and non-technical personnel
-Ability to translate user requirements into responsive applications
-Secret clearance required
-HS diploma or GED
-Completion of IT or Technical Certifications or training, including USMC intelligence systems

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with Palantir preferred
-Experience with JavaScript, C#, PHP, R, Groovy, SQL, and .NET MVC preferred
-Experience with Spark, Accumulo, Storm, Kafka, and Hadoop preferred
-Experience with data analytics or data science preferred
-Top Secret clearance
