Software Developer

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for supporting the development of Python code for SAR toolbox to read a variety of different kinds of DEM data. Assist with the development of improved geolocation from detection algorithms, including Folgers. Research, design, develop, and modify enterprise-wide systems and applications software and assist with planning system and development deployment. Maintain responsibility for meeting software compliance standards. Evaluate the interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of an overall system. Document testing and maintenance of system corrections.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with Python

-Experience with remote sensing

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree and 4 years of experience with software development, MA or MS degree and 2 years of experience with software development, or 11 years of experience with software development in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Java, MATLAB, IDL, OGC Standards, Web Service Development, GIS, digital signal processing, or image processing a plus

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Clearance:
