Key Role:
Work with a team to perform highly complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of computer software in support of the client's mission. Analyze and apply advanced methods, theories, and research techniques to the investigation and solution of complex and advanced software applications and problems. Plan and conduct major technical phases of significant projects by coordinating the efforts of technical support staff and the performance of assigned projects. Review completion and implementation of technical products and evaluate vendors’ capabilities to continue the modernization of the current technologies. Work typically with little supervision in a team setting.
Basic Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience with software development
-2+ years of experience with technologies, including Java, Tomcat, and PostgreSQL or equivalent relational databases
-Experience with Web programming, RESTful Web services, SQL, XML, JSON, multi-threaded programming, object-relational mappings, and X.509 certificate-based security
-Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and best practices, including source control, requirements gathering, and configuration management
-Experience with designing database schemas for RDBMS and NoSQL products
-Experience with software unit testing, integration testing, and test automation
-TS/SCI clearance
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with Agile development, cross-domain solutions for collaboration and file transferring, data migration, and system architecture
-Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, Solr, MongoDB, Apache Tomcat, MyBatis, Git, Maven, Eclipse, Atlassian products, including Confluence, Bitbucket, Jira, and Bamboo, Postman, and JUnit
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills to interface with the team and client
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
-BA or BS degree preferred; MA or MS degree a plus
-Security+ Certification
-Spring 3+ Certification
