Machine Learning Software Engineer, Mid

Key Role:

Join a growing team in the machine learning, immersive space. Take big ideas and turn them into impressive prototypes using machine learning on cutting-edge applications. Use AWS, Azure, Google Cloud AI, and other similar tools in conjunction with augmented reality and virtual reality to transform communications, training, planning, and security for government and commercial clients. Use proprietary ML tools to solve unique problems and drive new approaches. Work with a small team to take ideas from raw concept to working application, while thinking creatively to improve and refine product capabilities. Identify new machine learning techniques and develop expertise with leading AR or VR platforms, including HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Microsoft Hololens, DAQRI, and similar. This position is located in El Segundo, CA.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with software development using C# or similar object-oriented language

-Experience with at least one machine learning platform and approaches and best practices

-Experience with designing, implementing, and testing applications

-Ability to work on high impact and high visibility projects as part of small, dynamic team

-Ability to obtain a security clearance required

-BA or BS degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or CS

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with version control and related software, including git and JIRA

-Experience with one or more scripting languages, including Python and JavaScript

-Experience with unit testing

-Experience with prototyping and rapid development

-Knowledge of Agile development practices

-Ability to be comfortable with technical presentations and interacting with clients

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
