Key Role:
Apply technical knowledge to assist with the development and integration of new technologies with an application development focus. Apply current trends in software development, and demonstrate the ability to apply the software development life cycle across development, test, requirements, and operations teams. Design and develop enterprise applications in a Web environment. Apply a systematic approach to the analysis, design, assessment, implementation, test, maintenance, and reengineering of software. Plan and conduct major technical phases of significant projects by coordinating effort of technical support staff and the performance of assigned projects. Review completion and implementation of technical products. This position is located in Newport News, VA.
Basic Qualifications:
-8+ years of experience with multiple programming languages including Java, C#, JavaScript, CSS, .NET
-Experience with asynchronous AJAX calls, .NET C# MVC and .NET C# Web Forms
-Experience working in a Microsoft Visual Studio
-Knowledge of JIRA, Git or another VCS
-Ability to debug complex JavaScript, manage flow of data through the system to the user and back, including design a Web page for client and server side
-Ability to communicate the design to others prior to writing code
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with DevExpress, Telerik and Silverlight
-Experience with Software architecture, including client layer, service layer and data layer
-Knowledge of Entity Framework and Microsoft SQL
-Knowledge of OMG Modeling Languages, including BPMN, UML, SysML a plus
-Ability to work with Jenkins continuous development pipeline
-Ability to incorporate the latest in developer tools and techniques
-MA or MS degree
