Software Engineer

Key Role:

Perform complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of computer software in support of distinct product hardware or technical service lines of businesses. Perform activities ranging from software design, operating architecture integration, to selection of computer systems. Leverage knowledge of one or more systems, extensive knowledge of one or more platforms, and of programming languages. Assist with training less experienced software engineer staff.


Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with solid software design and programming, including Web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Web services development

-Knowledge of software development lifecycles

-Ability to conduct technical analysis studies to introduce new technologies into existing client systems

-Ability to apply technical knowledge to convert technical requirements into architecture and design of complex engineering solutions

-Ability to collaborate with a cross functional development team to integrate backend Web services into Web and mobile applications

-Ability to develop technical documentation to document the solution design and application architecture

-Active Secret clearance

-BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with full stack development

-Experience with quantitative analysis techniques, including statistical analysis, mathematical modeling, and optimization programming

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including presenting complex information to non–technical audiences

-MS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field


Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
