Software/Hardware Integration Engineer

Key Role:

Apply technical expertise to identify, develop, and integrate technical solutions critical to the success of an Air Force client. Apply expertise in engineering systems development for real-time signal processing applications. Leverage expertise in software and hardware engineering methodologies and development environments to develop solutions as part of an integrated team. Display expertise in problem-solving and analysis to develop solutions to user requirements or resolve technical challenges. Analyze, document, and execute software or system test plans and procedures to ensure systems meet performance requirements, work with a diverse group of experts, and develop requirements for tools or applications. Perform standard system engineering development and design work, including integration of COTS and GOTS equipment, software and firmware development, computer architecture analysis and design, and network structure design. Fabricate, modify, and evaluate components or circuitry for use in electronic equipment, interact with client engineers, as required, respond to technical questions and requests from clients, and implement systems at client sites.


Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with language development, including C++, Python, and Java

-5+ years of experience with developing hardware and software systems in Assembly, C, C++, or other low-level proprietary languages on UNIX, Linux, VxWorks, or vendor-proprietary operating systems

-5+ years of experience in a professional work environment

-3+ years of experience with algorithm development or mathematical models

-Experience in hardware or software integration and testing

-Experience with software development environments, including Linux

-Knowledge of the software, hardware, and systems development life cycle

-TS/SCI clearance required

-AA or AS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with computer and network security

-Experience with algorithm development in an academic or professional field

-Experience with military communications systems, protocols, architectures, security, or waveforms

-Experience with scripting languages to perform post processing analysis

-Experience with Graphical Processing Unit (GPU) software development

-BA or BS degree in CS, Computer Engineering, EE, or Systems Engineering


Clearance:
